EXODUS is a non-governmental organization based in South Korea. It seeks to bring international fugitive Jung Myung Seok to justice and to oppose what it sees as a destructive cult, his religion Providence. It mostly consists of former members of Providence who believe they have seen its true nature.

History

It was originally formed in the 1990s by friends of Do-hyoung Kim, someone who publicly spoke out against Jung Myung Seok and Providence, as Do-hyoung Kim Protection Association (DKPA). When media attention on Jung Myung Seok and Providence grew, it broke into three: DKPA, EXODUS, and Solidarity of People for the Sake of Justice (SPJ) because many more people were joining the movement. DKPA to protect Do-hyoung Kim, EXODUS of former members, and SPJ of those who were not former members. Later, they merged, taking the name that was most known to the public, EXODUS.
