The Electronic Information, the Visual Arts and Beyond conferences (EVA Conferences, aka Electronic Visualisation and the Arts) are a series of interdisciplinary conferences in Europe and around the world for people interested in the application of information technology to the cultural field. Started in London (UK), there are now conferences in Berlin (Germany), Florence (Italy), Moscow (Russia), Vienna (Austria) and other major cities. The first EVA Conference was held at Imperial College, London in 1990, organized by the founder James Hemsley. The conferences have been overseen by EVA Conferences International, based in London.
