Dynasty EV is an battery electric vehicle currently in production built by Dynasty Electric Car Corp. designed to qualify as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. The North American version has a range of up to 30 miles (40 km) and does not exceed 25 mph (40 km/h). It has a curb weight of 1450 lb (653 kg). According to the London importer, the Dynasty will begin imports to the UK in the Summer 2007. This UK version of the car will have a higher top speed, 35-40 mph, putting it in direct competition to the G-Wiz and the NICE car company.[1] A version of the car appears on the Sci-Fi Channel TV series Eureka. For the show's purposes, it is covered with photovoltaic cells to appear to be a solar-powered car.
