Dudley Selden (unknown - November 7, 1855) was a U.S. Representative from New York. Selden was graduated from Union College, Schenectady, New York, in 1819. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar and commenced the practice of his profession in New York City in 1831. He served as member of the State assembly in 1831. Selden was elected as a Jacksonian to the Twenty-third Congress and served from March 4, 1833, to July 1, 1834, when he resigned. He died in Paris, France, November 7, 1855. He was interred in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.

Family

He was a son of Joseph Dudley Selden and Ethlinda Colt. He married Augusta M. Packard and had a daughter Maria Louisa Selden (who married William Rogers Morgan.)
