Douglas Rinaldi (born 10 February, 1984) is a Brazilian footballer, currently playing for Watford in the Football League Championship. He is a central midfielder. Rinaldi was signed on a six-month loan deal by Watford in the January 2007 transfer window from the Brazilian club Veranopolis EC. He made his first appearance for Watford in the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham on March 17, 2007, coming on as a substitute. Rinaldi scored his first professional goal for Watford on 18 April 2007 in another 3-1 defeat, this time at the hands of Blackburn Rovers. On May 22, 2007, Rinaldi signed a two year contract with Watford for an initial fee of £250,000.[1]
