Douglas is a mostly Catholic community of approximately 300 residents in Renfrew County, Ontario. The town is 23 kilometers from Renfrew, Ontario. It has its own hydroelectric dam located on the third chute of the Bonnechere River. Douglas is famous for its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration which draws hundreds of people every year.
