Dixie is a character from Pee-wee's Playhouse. She only appeared in the first 13 episodes. She was a taxi cab driver who would summon the King of Cartoons by playing her trumpet in a, true to her name, Dixie fashion. She was rude and sarcastic, but treated Pee-wee as a friend. She also acted very masculine for a woman (though in "Beauty Makeover" she asked Miss Yvonne if she could participate in the makeover experiment as well). After the thirteenth episode, it became unclear on what exactly happened to Dixie. Some fans of Playhouse have theorized that she may be at the Cartoonland Palace. She was played by Johann Carlo.
