Deer Creek Public Schools serves students in northwestern Oklahoma County and southwesten Logan County in Oklahoma. Deer Creek was named for the nearby Deer Creek. There are 5 schools in the district: Deer Creek High School, Deer Creek Middle School, Deer Creek Elementary School, Deer Creek Prairie Vale Elementary School, and the newest school, Deer Creek Rose Union Elementary School. Students in this exurban district are overwhelmingly white and middle-class or upper-middle-class,[1] although racial diversity is increasing steadily. Deer Creek Middle School, Deer Creek Prairie Vale, and Deer Creek High School are Blue Ribbon Schools.
