David Lance Cornwell (born June 14, 1945) is a U.S. Representative from Indiana. Born in Paoli, Indiana, Cornwell attended Paoli public schools, Culver (Indiana) Military Academy, Phillips Andover (Massachusetts) Academy. He graduated from Park High School, Indianapolis, Indiana, 1964. He attended Hillsdale College, 1964. American College of Monaco, 1969. He was in the Indiana University, 1974. Secretary, Board of Directors, Cornwell Co., Inc., Paoli. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam 1966-1968. He was an unsuccessful candidate for nomination in 1974 to the Ninety-fourth Congress. Cornwell was elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-fifth Congress (January 3, 1977-January 3, 1979). He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1978 to the Ninety-sixth Congress. He works in governmental and international relations. He is a resident of Falls Church, Virginia.
