Danny Sheridan is a musician, songwriter, producer, actor, and an entertainment manager. In 2006 he also became an air personality on 97.1 Free FM (CBS Los Angeles). He is credited as an influential electric bass player [1], and as the founder of the infamous “Eli Radish Band”, pioneers of the so-called “outlaw country” music genre, a style that Sheridan’s Radish vocalist David Allan Coe has epitomized well into the 21st century. Danny Sheridan launched his then-girlfriend Nina Blackwood’s TV career as MTV’s first video jockey (VJ), and the press praised his “astute management” for orchestrating her meteoric rise. In 1988, Danny Sheridan married blues vocalist Bonnie Bramlett of “Delaney - Bonnie & Friends with Eric Clapton” fame, soon masterminding her 1990s career comeback via the “Revolutionary Hard Rockin’ Blues” of their “Bandaloo Doctors". The group's music attracted the admiration of many Hollywood celebrities, and the couple was soon cast for several seasons of the hit ABC series Roseanne: Bonnie as a recurring actress, with Sheridan writing music and appearing as the character “Hank, the bass player”. Sheridan went on to act in Pauly Shore’s film Pauly Shore Is Dead; Bramlett in "The Doors" and in 2006, "The Guardian" with Kevin Costner. Sheridan’s many songs have been performed by Bramlett; Coe; Oscar-nominated actress Amy Madigan; Nia Peeples and David Crosby who sang his “Roll On Down”. Sheridan has also composed for TV and film, notably CHiPs; F.A.M.E. and the Orion Pictures Gang Related. In 2004 some of Sheridan's memorabilia was added to the permanent collection of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Danny Sheridan continues to compose for and produce a number of important musicians and radio shows today, including "Help Your Self" on SmartTalk KRLA; and Nina Blackwood's syndicated "Absolutely80s"; "New Wave Nation" and her Big80s shows on Sirius Satellite Radio.
