Daniel Casey (born June 1, 1972) is a British actor best known for playing Sgt. Gavin Troy on Midsomer Murders, and Anthony Cox in Our Friends in the North. He also played firefighter Tony Barnes in the 2004 ITV firefighting series Steel River Blues. He grew up in Stockton-on-Tees and attended Durham University, graduating with a BA Honours in English Literature before pursuing a career in acting.

He is married and has one son (born 2006).
