Biography
The First Period
Dance Nation were discovered by their producers Bradski & Jenski in 2001 when their first single Sunshine was released. Follow-up Singles in Europe were (Dance, Words, You take me away). In 2004, they switched to the name "Double Nation" due to legal proceedings.
In 2003, they also collaborated with Lovestern Galaktika for the single My First Love.
The Change
In this period, following the label crisis Noculan Music(after inglobed into Jamie Lewis by his Purple Eye Entertainment), that stroke not only Dance Nation, but also other Trance artists such as Noemi and 666 and the general mutation of the music tendens in Europe, going House, Hard House and Elektro, lead Dance Nation to land in Japan, where they still have a great deal of success and their production focused in the last years. From this moment on, the group had a sort of split life, releasing Trance projects for Japanese market and House ones for the European one. In this climate born singles like Beachtime in Japan and I'm gonna get you and the House/Elektro track Move your love in Europe. It's because their production are more Asian based than European, that it is difficult to find their releases outside Japan, both in online and retail stores and it's because of that too that no one knows about the release of two albums and a compilation. Titles are Trance Champion, released in 2005 by the Japanese label Avex Productions, containing all the past-released singles, including Celebrate your Life that, listening to some people, should have been the next single, One Nation in 2007 always by the same label and Christmas Trance in winter 2006, including a lot of popular Christmas melodies rearranged in Trance style, like Dance Nation always did.
Actual Situation
At present Dance Nation have released, just before Summer, their last single Ridin' High, that confirms a general move towards House sounds of the European market. An album is going to be produced too, with an undisclosed release date, containing some remixes of their first single, Sunshine. Remixes are being collected from their numerous fans all over the world. The release date has been postponed more than once, and it is still unknown. A new single is rumoured to also be in the pipeline.

Curiosities
Name
Dance Nation are commonly known with the following names:
- Dance Nation
- Double Nation
- Sean & Kim
other names, with the addition of fake ones, in other songs, have been invented for the Japanese productions. Song production anyway is still taken on by the group, wisely lead by their starttime producers, Bradsky & Jensky.
- Cyber X feat. MaxiPriest
- Castalia feat. Kim
- D-Nation feat. Kim
- Cyber Nation feat. Ho!Ho!Ho!
- Cyber Nation feat. Sean & Kim
- ...and many others
Singles
Listening to some people, before the style change of the group and the label crisis, the next single of Dance Nation should had to be Celebrate your Life(released only as a radio promotional, in the first quarter of 2004, precursot of the first album One Nation, never released in such form, and included in the album Trance Champion, released in Japan only in 2005, 1 year later. One Nation has been effectively released 3 years later, in 2007, with a totally different tracklist.
Estra Songs
Christmas 2002
In December 2002, encouraged by many supporting fans, Dance Nation said Merry Christmas to their fan with an inusual gift: it was in fact possible to download, from the official website and with high quality sound Joy to the World and Happy X-Mas(War is Over), both remixes in pure Dance Nation sound, the first of the traditional English carol and the latter of the famous song by John Lennon. Successivamente le due canzoni sono state conservate, leggermente modificate e incluse nella raccolta di canzoni natalizie Christmas Trance, curata sempre dai Dance Nation ed uscita su etichetta giapponese Avex Productions, nel dicembre del 2006.
Year 2005
Before the release of I'm gonna get you that starts, as said a new period for the group, when it was thought that the Dance Nation project was definitely retired, a new promotional single appeared whose title was Beethoven 9th Symphony, clearly a remix of the famous masterpiece by the famous Austrian composer. At today's date, no confirmations have been given by the label, but it is thought that it was a trial to test an eventual style change for the group (then really happened) and not a proper single, because of the total absence of chart-scaling elements.
Private Life
Engagement
Even they are a group, Sean & Kim are not engaged each other. Both are engaged with other people that do not belong to the Dance Nation project.
Sean
Before dedicating himself totally to singing, Sean was a Modern Dance dancer. That can be easily seen during a concert.
Fan Interaction
Dance Nation always felt linked with their fans, both during concerts and in real life. There are a lot of pictures, even on the official website, that depicts the artists with a fan, whatever his age, sex and race are. In 2007 they started a competition to remix Sunshine, their first single. All the fans were invited during the summer to send their own personal remix of the song. The best remixes will be published in a CD whose release date has not been disclosed yet. The title will be Sunshine 2007.
