Song History

This song was the second consecutive single to not be released at Estefan's home country U.S., but was released at Europe. The song as it name says it, is dedicated to Gloria's birthplace, Cuba, who left since she was 2 years old. The song became controversial at some places because its music video, which shows a bomb exploding after fall from a plane to a little boat with some men on the sea who are trying to flee from the island of Cuba. However, the song, even with the controversy made, has become an anthem to the Cuban exile community and in Spain the song reached the Top Ten.
