The Crown Group is a catering and event caterer in the United Kingdom. The London-based company began in 1978 as a collection of chefs in an agency that supplied local caterers with relief chefs. Later two distinct companies developed: Crown Venue Catering and Crown Society Special Event Caterers. The Group provides catering services across the UK, including to London Zoo, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and Church House. The groups core catering and events activities have broadened to include a diverse range of suppliers from flag making to a graphic design consultancy. Subsidiaries include Crown Venue Catering, Crown Society, Chelsea Events, London's Flying Chef, Piggotts and Venue Reservations. Awards have been given to the company and its employees by The Automobile Association, Michelin Guide, World Master Chef Society, and Corporate Event Association.
