Career
Craig Pittman was born in 1959 on Long Island, New York. He joined the United States Marine Corps upon graduating and achieved the rank of sergeant. He was a wrestler in the Marines and won several championships. Craig trained to wrestle professionally and made his debut in 1994 in World Championship Wrestling as Sgt. Craig Pittman. (modelled on Sgt. Slaughter). He was nicknamed "The Pit Bull" because of his tenacity when he locked on his "Code Red" Armbar Submission hold. Pittman feuded with Cobra and eventually hired Theodore Long to be his manager. Pittman left WCW in the late 1990s for the National Wrestling Alliance's Mid-Atlantic area. He wrestled there until retiring in early 2004. Pittman is now a Sheriffs Deputy in Sevier County, Tennessee. Pittman also fought in a mixed martial arts competition in Japan. He won he first fight but lost his second. Can be seen in the documentary CHOKE.
