Coventry Evening Telegraph is a local tabloid newspaper, founded in 1891 as Coventry's first daily newspaper. Today it belongs to the Trinity Mirror group - the biggest regional newspaper group in the UK. It has a daily circulation of approximately 58,000 copies [Jul-Dec 2004], with a readership figure of around 160,000. From Monday 2 October 2006 the publication changed from an evening paper to a daily paper. The newspaper is now available at 6 a.m. along with all other daily newspapers. To reflect this change, the newspapers name has changed to simply "Coventry Telegraph".
