The Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence (Latin: Congregatio Divinae Providentiae) is a Catholic religious order that was founded in 1851 in Germany by Wilhelm Emmanuel von Ketteler, Bishop of Mainz, and Stephanie Amelia Starkenfels de la Roche, a French noblewoman. The Congregation has three provinces: Germany, America-Caribbean, Korea and Peru, which is not a province, but a region. It is an international community of 750 vowed members and 300 associates.
