CollegeConfidential.com, Inc. (CC) is a college admissions counseling company founded in 2001. Its website, "College Discussion", also hosts popular college admissions forums on topics such as admissions chances, financial aid, standardized testing and school life. Common discussions cover a wide range from if an applicant's race is an advantage or disadvantage in admissions to what test books one should use, to what extracurricular activities gain the most favor with admission officers.
