Anderlecht from Brussels, and they share the Jan Breydel Stadium with Cercle Brugge K.S.V. . Club Brugge is the only Belgian club to have played the European Cup (forerunner of the current UEFA Champions League ) final so far, they were beaten by Liverpool F.C. in 1978 . They also lost in the 1976 UEFA Cup final to Liverpool.
