Claude Napier was an English translator of the Scandinavian languages. He is most known for his translation and dramatization of Hjalmar Bergmans novel Grandma and our Lord. This dramatisation was a team-work with his son actor Alan Napier. Still unclear if that person is the same as Alan Napier Other translations into English by Claude Napier include: Sven Hedins "Riddles of the Gobi Desert", Sigurd Hoels "Sinners in Summertime" and Henning Haslunds "Tents in Mongolia".
