Geography
Clark is located at (39.280154, -92.343538)GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.6 km²), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 275 people, 103 households, and 71 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,176.0 people per square mile (461.6/km²). There were 117 housing units at an average density of 500.3/sq mi (196.4/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.82% White, 0.36% Native American, and 1.82% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.09% of the population. There were 103 households out of which 37.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.2% were married couples living together, 8.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.1% were non-families. 27.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.67 and the average family size was 3.22. In the city the population was spread out with 29.8% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 29.8% from 25 to 44, 19.6% from 45 to 64, and 10.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 83.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.8 males. The median income for a household in the city was $31,875, and the median income for a family was $34,167. Males had a median income of $25,500 versus $17,500 for females. The per capita income for the city was $11,704. About 14.3% of families and 18.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 32.6% of those under the age of eighteen and 8.0% of those sixty five or over.
