Churchill is a village in the unitary authority of North Somerset, England. It is located on the western edge of the Mendip Hills about 8 miles east of Weston-super-Mare. It derives its name from the Churchill family, and the Duke of Marlborough, who historically had connections with the village.
School and sporting facilities
Churchill Community School is a secondary school, based in Churchill. Facilities of the school include the 6th form centre, secondary school, cafeterias and the neighbouring Churchill Sports Centre with playing fields.
