Church is a suburb of Accrington in the Hyndburn district of Lancashire, England, about a mile west of Accrington town centre. Church was an urban district from 1894 to 1974. The population of the Church component of the Accrington urban area at the 2001 census was 3,988 according to the ONS. There is a small railway station which also serves the neighbouring town of Oswaldtwistle.

Education

Church is home to Moorehead Sports College (a high school) and St. Nicholas C.E. Primary school.
