Chuck Prophet is an American singer, songwriter and electric guitarist based in San Francisco. He was formerly a member of the group Green on Red and has worked as a sideman or session musician with artists including Bob Neuwirth, Kelly Willis, Warren Zevon, Jonathan Richman, and Cake. He has frequently collaborated with legendary songwriter Dan Penn and his songs have been recorded by artists such as Heart. His song "Summertime Thing" was a Triple A Radio hit in 2002. He is currently producing music for New York City based musician Jeremy Mix.
