Chris Rolfe (born January 17, 1983 in Kettering, Ohio) is an American soccer striker, who currently plays for Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer. Rolfe played college soccer at University of Dayton, where he posted some of the best scoring numbers in university's history despite missing large parts of his final two seasons due to injuries. After having played for Chicago Fire Premier in the USL Premier Development League, he was drafted by the senior team in the third round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft. After a successful 2005 season with the Fire, leading his team in goals with eight, Rolfe made his debut with the US national team on November 12, 2005 against Scotland at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
