Chisholm Institute is a Technical and Further Education (TAFE) Institute located in the south east Melbourne and Westernport Bay areas in Australia. It provides adult education in a number of areas including the arts and humanities, hospitality, information technology, mechanics and business. It was founded in 1998 by the merging of Casey Institute of TAFE, Peninsula Institute of TAFE and Barton Institute of TAFE. It is named after Caroline Chisholm. Its name was also inspired by the Chisholm Institute of Technology, a tertiary institution that operated in southeast Melbourne from 1982 to 1990. This institution then became part of Monash University. Chisholm Institute has campuses in Dandenong, Berwick, Frankston, Wonthaggi, Cranbourne, Noble Park and Rosebud.
