The Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) was founded in 1915 as the "Catholic Hospital Association of the United States and Canada." Based in St. Louis, Missouri, it also operates an office in Washington, DC. CHA is dedicated to serving the nation's Catholic health care organizations and supporting the strategic directions of mission, ethics, and advocacy. Each CHA member expresses its commitment to the ministry and to its individual founders through a mission statement. CHA and its members are committed to:
