Cascade is a town in Cascade County, Montana, United States. The population was 819 at the 2000 census. It is part of the 'Great Falls, Montana Metropolitan Statistical Area'.

Geography
Cascade is located at (47.271954, -111.702675)GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 819 people, 323 households, and 221 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,561.9 people per square mile (608.1/km²). There were 349 housing units at an average density of 665.6/sq mi (259.1/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.56% White, 0.37% African American, 1.22% Native American, and 0.85% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.73% of the population. There were 323 households out of which 34.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.0% were married couples living together, 9.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.3% were non-families. 28.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.14. In the town the population was spread out with 30.0% under the age of 18, 6.8% from 18 to 24, 24.4% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 17.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 91.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.9 males. The median income for a household in the town was $30,602, and the median income for a family was $34,938. Males had a median income of $30,446 versus $18,542 for females. The per capita income for the town was $14,219. About 10.0% of families and 12.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 16.2% of those under age 18 and 10.7% of those age 65 or over.
