Carole Simpson was an American television newsreader on the ABC News network. Simpson joined the ABC Network in 1982, and for many years she was the presenter of the Sunday evening news program. She ceased that role in October 2003. Simpson was the moderator of the second presidential debate held between Bill Clinton and George Bush, at Richmond, Virginia in 1992.
