Carlos Renato de Abreu, or simply Renato (born June 9 1978 in São Paulo), is a Brazilian football midfielder. Specialising in free kicks, Renato was named by the press and fans one of the most important players in Flamengo's triumph in the 2006 Brazil Cup.
