Candy Magazine's first issue was published on February, 1999. The magazine is edited in English because it is easy to read by the readers, in which the main target of it is the Filipino Female Teenagers, College Students, the Male Teenagers, and also, High School Students. Candy Magazine is the most read teen magazine. It was ranked first in the Philippines in the category of Teen Magazines, according to the survey conducted by Synovate. It is also the number one magazine based on the top 5 magazines of Summit Media after FHM, Yes!, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping.

This magazine is published monthly by Summit Media, and it is available in all convenience stores like 7-Eleven, Mini-Stop, and all others, same as Filbars, for new issues as well as back issues, some newsstands, bookstores like National Bookstores, Merriam-Webster Bookstores, , Goodwill Bookstores, SM Department Stores, Rustan’s, SM Supermarket Branches, Liana’s Supermarket, and all other supermarkets and leading malls in the Philippines.
