History

CSA was incorporated in 1953 as a voluntary, non-profit association of physicians specializing in anesthesiology practicing in California.

Mission of the organization

CSA works to preserve the unique specialty of anesthesiology in California. CSA works closely with ASA to protect the interests of anesthesiologists on a local, state and national level in the United States.

Board of Directors

CSA is served by 29-member board of directors. The current president of the board is Mark A. Singleton, MD.
