A business fable is a fable written about a business or person in a business setting and the moral of the story is a business lesson. The two most famous writers of business fables are Dr. Ken Blanchard and Dr. Spencer Johnson who co-authored The One Minute Manager. Since then, they have independently introduced many other highly successful fables such as Who Moved My Cheese (which is more allegorical) and Raving Fans. Other notable fable writers include Eliyahu M. Goldratt, author of The Goal, Patrick Lencioni, author of a successful series of business fables including the best-selling The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, and David Mosby and Michael Weissman, co-authors of The Paradox of Excellence.
