Buckley is a locality within Rochdale, in Greater Manchester, England. It is around one mile (1.6 km) north east of Rochdale town centre and one mile (1.6 km) south of Wardle.
History
Although now a locality within the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Buckley was once the principal estate in the parish of Wardleworth. It was the site to a historic house by the name of Buckley Hall. Today, Buckley is home to Buckley Hall Prison.
