Buchan (37°29′S, 148°10′E) is a town in Victoria, Australia, located on Buchan Road, in the East Gippsland Shire near the Snowy River. At the 2006 census, Buchan and the surrounding area had a population of 326.[1] The town is probably best known for the limestone Buchan Caves and 1920s parkland which are just beside the centre of the township and is a popular destination for spelunkers.. The town hosts the Canni Creek Races in February, a rodeo at Easter, and the Flowers & Craft Show in November.
