The Brotherhood of Saint Gregory is a community of friars within the Anglican communion. Its members, known as Gregorians, include the married and unmarried, clergy and laymen. Its motto is Soli Deo gloria, "to God alone be the glory". It was founded on September 14, 1969 (Feast of the Cross) by Richard Thomas Biernacki. Its members work in diverse fields throughout the world, and come together twice a year for prayer and discussion. Since 1987 there has also been a parallel order of sisters, the Sisters of Saint Gregory.
