Sam Brody Jenner (born August 21, 1983) is an American reality television celebrity and model. Jenner is the son of Olympic decathlon champion Bruce Jenner and actress Linda Thompson. Jenner has modeled for Guess? and had a short-lived TV career on the Fox reality show, The Princes of Malibu. Jenner is currently featured in the MTV reality show The Hills.[1]

Television Appearances
In addition to appearing on the reality show The Hills, Jenner also starred in his own short lived reality series, The Princes of Malibu. The series, which also featured Jenner's brother Brandon, was canceled after two episodes.[2] In 2007, he appeared on the E! reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which features his father, his father's current wife, Kris Jenner, and Jenner's step- and half-siblings including stepsister Kim Kardashian.[3]

Lauren Conrad's also keenly attuned to affectations, as becomes clear tonight on her date with Hollywood's junior-varsity womanizer, Brody Jenner. He praises her smile, somewhat by rote, and she protests that it's flawed, exhibiting some wit on the subject of features that purportedly give a face "character." This Austenian playfulness about courtship confounds dopey Brody, and he resorts to repeating, dumbly, "You have a beautiful smile." [4]
A February 2007 profile of Jenner in Details magazine, which was based on interviews both with Jenner and former manager Spencer Pratt, suggested that his fame has been carefully contrived by Pratt's intentional and strategic manipulations of the media. The article suggests, for instance, that Jenner dated Nicole Richie on Pratt's insistence that it would win him publicity. The article quotes Pratt advising Jenner:
"All right, then here's what you're gonna do. You're gonna start dating Nicole Richie. And you're gonna get that skinny bitch to eat, all right? You are about to become "The Guy Who Got Nicole Richie to Eat". Process that shit, bro. You'll be, like, a fucking hero to America."[5]
Jenner later said he was "horrified" about the way the article construed him and his relationship with Richie, whom he claimed to "genuinely love".[6]
Personal life
Jenner dated actress and fellow reality TV celebrity Kristin Cavallari of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, for one year. Though sources differ, the couple reportedly began dating in September 2005 and broke up in August 2006.[7] Weeks after his break up with Cavallari in August 2006, he began dating Nicole Richie. Multiple internet gossip sources, and Richie herself through her MySpace blog, have suggested that the relationship between Jenner and Richie was staged for publicity purposes. By early October, representatives announced the pair had split.[8] Jenner moved on to date another former Laguna Beach star, Lauren Conrad. Their first date was featured on season two of Conrad's MTV reality show, The Hills. Less than one month later, Jenner confirmed he and Conrad were no longer seeing each other.[9] Jenner appeared on the show with former best friend Spencer Pratt. Rumors surfaced that both Jenner and Pratt went on the show to become famous.[5] Pratt recently ended the 10-year friendship after Jenner began hanging out with Pratt's nemesis Lauren Conrad.[5] Their feud, along with Pratt, Montag and Conrad's, is featured weekly on The Hills.
