The McArthur Glen Bridgend Designer Outlet is a commercial development in Bridgend, Wales, United Kingdom. Strategically situated on Junction 36 of the M4 motorway between Cardiff, Swansea and a large proportion of Wales' population it consists of around ninety different stores which offer discounts off brand labels. An array of goods are available including clothes, toys, books and electrical products. The centre is operated by McArthur Glen, a company which operates a number of other similar outlet complexes in the United Kingdom and western Europe.

Brands at the centre include, Karen Millen, Christy Outlet Store, Mexx, Nike Factory Store, Jane Shilton, Marks & Spencer Outlet, Next Clearance, Clarks, Adidas, and Austin Reed. There is a range of amenities on site including a customer information desk where gift vouchers can be purchased, special needs services, three coffee shops (Sidoli's, Starbucks & Costa Coffee) two restaurants (KFC & Pizza Hut), a foodcourt (with McDonald's, Harry Ramsden's, Pasty Presto & Spud U Like), a nine screen Odeon cinema, two children's play areas, a tourist information centre and ample free car parking.

Location

The McArthur Glen Designer Outlet Wales is located near to the villages of Sarn, Litchard and Pen-y-fai and the town of Bridgend. Within the same development is a Sainsbury's supermarket, a Harvester restaurant, and a Holiday Inn hotel. The centre is directly accessed by the M4 motorway from Junction 36 (Bridgend). It is also served by a number of bus routes to destinations both north and south of the village to and from the town of Bridgend and the Llynfi, Garw and Ogmore Valleys. It also contains a bus stop which is served by National Express and TrawsCambria coaches in between Swansea and Cardiff.
