Bret Stephens is a writer and news commentator for the Wall Street Journal. He was editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post in 2002-2004.

Biography
Bret Stephens grew up in Mexico City. After graduating Middlesex School, Stephens went to the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics. Stephens is married and has two children.
Career
Stephens is an editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal Europe in Brussels. He is a member of the editorial board and writes a weekly column called "Global View," taking over from George Melloan who has retired. Between 2002 and 2004 he was editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post, the youngest person ever to hold that position. In 2003, Stephens was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, where he is also a media fellow. He also writes for Commentary magazine.[1]
