Bret Baier is the Fox News Channel's chief White House correspondent, based in Washington, D.C. He previously was the network's Pentagon correspondent. Joining Fox News in 1998, Baier has covered a number of stories including the September 11th attacks, the beginning of the War on Terror, the Kosovo War, and the latest about the current War in Iraq and War on Terror. In addition, he has also been a guest host for Weekend Live and one of the rotating hosts of The Big Story Primetime. Baier attended DePauw University, class of 1992. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Baier was at one time a resident of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
