Bourassa is a former provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. Situated in the island of Montreal, it was created in 1966 and was part of Bourget from 1960 to 1966. In 2003, Bourassa was merged with the riding of Sauvé to form the new riding of Bourassa-Sauvé. The Bourassa riding was named after nationalist and former politician at the Canadian House of Commons, Henri Bourassa who was an MLA from 1907 to 1912. [1]
