Bombshell (Wendy Conrad) is a supervillain in the Marvel Comics Universe.

Fictional character biography

Wendy Conrad was born in Scarsdale, New York. An expert juggler that specializes in explosives, Bombshell began her criminal career as a member of the Death-Throws. Her first mission paired her up with Oddball, as they ambushed Hawkeye and Mockingbird. Bombshell was able to defeat Mockingbird by disguising herself as a nun and attacking with her explosive gauntlets. The Avengers were eventually able to defeat Bombshell and Oddball, putting them into custody. She later battled Captain America and was invited to join Superia's Femizons. Most recently, Bombshell has appeared, once again with the Death-Throws as they battled Union Jack. Despite being depicted as a large, slightly muscular woman in her earlier appearances, Bombshell has adapted a more feminine look in her most recent appearances.
