The Doo'cot, Bolton

Bolton is a small village in East Lothian, Scotland, approximately 2 miles south of Haddington and 20 miles east of Edinburgh. The most notable buildings in the town are the Parish Church, which dates from 1809, and an 18th-century dovecote or "doo'cot". After the death of Robert Burns, his brother Gilbert and later his sister Annabel and mother Agnes moved to Bolton from Ayrshire. Gilbert himself oversaw the building of the church and the three are buried there.
