High School Years

Wade attended Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Arizona and was a student letterwinner in football, track & field, and basketball. In football, as a senior, he was the USA Today Player of the Year, and he helped lead his team to the Class 5A State Championship. In track & field, he won the Class 5A triple jump title as a senior. Even now, it's a tradition of the marching band to chant his name after a good play.

Professional career

The Chicago Bears selected Wade in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. His best season with the team came in 2004, when he caught forty-two passes for 481 yards. Wade saw more play-time as punt returner, and scored the first touchdown of his career during the second week of the 2005 season. Shortly later, he began to have several turn over ridden performances, including a game where he fumbled four times.[1] The Bears waived Wade after the season tenth week. The Tennessee Titans shortly acquired signed him as a back up wide receiver. On March 6, 2007 he signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
