Robert 'Bob' Egerton born 6 March 1963 Lae, New Guinea was an Australian International Rugby Player whose shortlived career at the very highest level of the game was timed to perfection. Rob won only nine caps for the Wallabies, all in a 13 week spell in 1991, with his final appearance coming in the biggest game in the sport - the World Cupfinal. He helped Australia to a 12-6 victory that day against England at Twickenham, bringing to an end a short - but very sweet - international career.
