Blanche Ely High School (located in Pompano Beach, Florida) is a high school in Broward County, Florida. Blanche Ely High School serves all cities in Broward County that are north of Sunrise Blvd. Blanche Ely High School offers medical and engineering magnet programs and vocational programs such as the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) and the LPN Nursing program. Their mascot is the mighty tiger. They are known for their award winning FOOTBALL team, their 1987 and 2006 Male Basketball Team, track and field programs with state championships in Football 2003 and in 2006 and also their Mighty Tiger Marching Band. Blanche Ely High School is also involved in FIRST Robotics as RoboTicks Team 408 in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Also with an Army JROTC founded in 1980 by Msg.Scott Grandville. Ely high school's band is one of the best bands in the country.
