The Birmingham Fire was a professional American football team based in Birmingham, Alabama that played in the World League of American Football in 1991 and 1992. The team played at Legion Field, and it made the playoffs in both seasons. In 1995, the Fire nickname was resurrected in Düsseldorf, Germany as the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe.

The Birmingham Fire and the London Monarchs are the only two WLAF teams to end a game in a tie (17-17 on Week 4 of the '92 season).
