Bauer Verlagsgruppe is a large German publishing company based in Hamburg.

History

It used to be called Heinrich Bauer Verlag KG (or HBV). It was founded in 1875. In December 2007, Bauer agreed to purchase the consumer magazine division and radio station division of the British company, EMAP (subject to shareholder approval). [1][2]
