"Bathysphere" is the title of a song appearing on the 1995 album Wild Love by lo-fi indie rock artist Bill Callahan, better known as Smog. The song was covered in a radically different form by indie songstress Chan Marshall, better known as Cat Power (with whom Callahan was romantically involved) on her 1996 album What Would the Community Think.
