Bastard rattlesnake is a common name that may refer to two different species of snakes:[1]
- Crotalus horridus, a.k.a. the timber rattlesnake.
- Sistrurus miliarius, a.k.a. the pygmy rattlesnake.
- Heterodon platirhinos, a.k.a. the eastern hog-nosed snake (non-venomous).
